A Theories

Thisone i found on the internet so i take no credit for it and im notsure i believe it either but... someone else might. This one is about Aria.

• Mona may have been texting Alison before she died, but the texts didn't start up again until Aria came back from Iceland.
• In 1x12, Noel threatened to out Ezria's relationship to the Principal if Ezra didn't change Noel's grade. In 1x13, A got Noel suspended for having exam answers in his locker - Aria had motive for wanting Noel out of the picture..
• In 2x02, Mona called Aria "Big A" (Mona är ju med i A team, Aria kanske är ledaren?)
• In 2x20, Ezra makes plans with Aria to meet at a vegan bistro called Chez Mirabelle, A then relays this information to Byron in a letter. Ezra shows up, as does Byron, but Aria cancels. Perhaps in order to make Byron look like a fool when no one shows up.
• In 2x23, Duncan takes Aria up in his plane, and they have a conversation about Alison, during which Duncan mentions that Alison was afraid of someone, maybe a friend, and then he looks at Aria, and Aria loses control of the plane for a second..
• In February, Marlene King tweeted that Aria's costume is "kind of perfect for the episode." Upon research we discovered that her dress bears an uncanny resemblance to this Black Swan movie poster - Marlene had tweeted shortly before this that "Black Swan" is a "huge Finale spoiler".
• Aria likes Toffee-flavoured Frozen Yoghurt, Mona was wearing a lipstick called Toffee Tango. If Toffee is Aria's favourite, maybe Mona borrowed the lipstick from Aria?
• A's sketches of The Black Swan's costume vaguely resembled the shape & style of Aria's costume.
• Aria's costume consists of very A-like black gloves
• In 2x25, Spencer tells Aria she's big ("You're little, but you're big..")
• In 2x25, Aria was looking at her phone a lot before Ezra arrived at the ball, but it couldn't have been Ezra texting her because he wanted to surprise her. However, Jenna is seen sending a text while watching Aria, then Aria looks like she's going to meet someone, Jenna follows her but then leaves when she sees Ezra coming - was Aria meeting Jenna?
• At the end of 2x25, Mona was visited by someone in a red coat - Aria was the last person seen with Vivian's red coat.
• We were promised that A would be revealed in this episode titled "UnmAsked", yet it's interesting to note that the only person "literally unmasked" was Aria..
• Ezra has tried to leave Aria several times but he keeps coming back, maybe she has a different kind of hold over him than we think..
• Aria is fully capable of lying to her friends and family, she has done it countless times, even her best friends consider her to be the best liar.
• She had no problem with the idea of blackmailing her Dad..
• Aria is the character chosen to the perform the Shh-Face in the opening credits, and in all the official promotional posters - could it be a clue to her perpetual secret?
• We're currently working on a Left-Right handed-theory working out how 90% of A's "tags" are right-handed, while a few are left-handed - Lucy Hale tends to use her left-hand for the Shh-Face in the promotional posters, but sometimes uses her right-hand in the more generic photoshoots. Theory in progress..
• Marlene King recently tweeted "is red the new black?" possibly alluding to the fact that the person in the red coat at the end of 2x25 is now taking over from A..? And Aria wears a LOT of red..
• When Aria couldn't decide what to wear on her date with Ezra in 1x15, Spencer tells her to "be bold, go with red" - "be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid.."? 'Mighty forces' = The A-Team..?
• Aria is the only PLL that has never been physically threatened by A.'

2x25 UnmAsked: In the car scene just after Mona reveals herself as A to Spencer, Mona tells Spencer she isn’t “the only genius in the car”. If Mona is such a genius, why didn’t she take Spencer’s phone off of her? Or maybe they both did it out of ingeniousness, by setting the whole thing up so the girls would believe they know who A is now. 

1x16 If At First You Don’t Succeed, Lie, Lie Again: During a flashback to the night of Alison’s disappearance, Spencer tells Alison “you are dead to me already”. We now know A was around at this time, as we saw in The First Secret and more recently, Alison was trying to figure out who A was/is. A knows everything, and Jenna, Garrett and Ian had probably been planning the murder for some time, so A would’ve known that Alison’s death was planned for Labour Day. Spencer probably slipped up saying this sentence, as if she is A, she’d know Ali would be murdered that night.

1x2 The Jenna Thing: A’s texts contain a lot of book references, which is what made thinkEzra may have been A due to him being an English teacher and having adequate knowledge of books. However Spencer is very smart, she takes a lot of college level classes and get’s high grades, she also has a large book collection. Maybe A get’s their inspiration from Spencer’s book collection, for example the Great Expectations and Tom Sawyer references.

1x7 The Homecoming Hangover: Hanna, Aria and Spencer are fighting over what to do with Toby’s file. The girls all believe that Toby is A and that he killed Alison and Spencer is adamant that she will keep the file and mail it to the police. Maybe the file includes something that could pin her down as A or maybe even expose the entire A team, which is why she wouldn’t let Hanna burn the file. Spencer also keeps reminding the girls how Toby has a motive, making them believe she really wants to mail the file to the police. Then at the end of the episode, the file is recovered from the lake and Spencer had been really aggressively asking for the file, maybe she convinced Mona to save it from the lake.

1x17 The New Normal: Spencer begins getting close to Toby, since the girls no longer believe he is A. This is not only just suspicious for Spencer, but very convenient. A has been taunting the girls with clues to Alison’s murder then taking the clues away. We know now that Jenna has something to do with the murder and by Spencer getting close to Toby, it enables Spencer to get into the Cavanaugh house. Spencer is caught snooping around Jenna’s room, maybe she could be looking for something to put forward to the girls, but as A.

2x25 UnmAsked: Whoever visited Mona in that red coat is the main A or another part of the A team. This was what made me believe Aria may be the main A. However, surely Aria would have put the red coat back since all of Alisons other things, like the bag and the music box had been kept at Spencer’s house. Maybe it was Spencer in that coat. 

2x24 If These Dolls Could Talk: Hanna is sure that Melissa is A, but Spencer won’t let her go to the police. This could be because Spencer in fact knows who A is/are and is part of it herself, and won’t let her sister take the fall. However, in UnmAsked she is accepting Melissa is A, saying she always won hide and seek with Melissa, hide and seek being the game A wanted to play. Maybe she was willing to help the girls take down Melissa because she and Mona made an agreement to stage the whole ending to the night.

1x4 Can You Hear Me Now: A lot of A’s mischief happens in the Hastings household, Spencer could be helping to set these things up or allowing Mona into her house, and telling her when the girls’ will get back etc. Alison went missing from Spencer’s barn, A broke into Spencer’s house to write the message on the mirror, a photo of Alison was taken from the upstairs window in the Hastings’ house. Many other things have happened in that house and A has even used Spencer’s lake house as a base. Spencer could be providing the rest of the A team with all the information and access needed to get into the houses.

Or maybe ezra?

1x4 Can You Hear Me Now?: The liars all see Ezra ride past on his bike and waves to them, not long after they’ve blocked unknown texts and emails. Conveniently, not long after they receive an A message blowing in the wind. They look around to see who could be there, but the last person you’d think to send death threats would be your English teacher, right? Also, in this episode Aria takes interest in a typewriter on the desk at Ezra’s apartment, she also talks to Ezra about her parents fighting and gets into a fight with him over not being seen as an adult. The next day she realises she needs to tell the truth, upon returning home her mom has received a letter from A about Byron’s affair, written with a typewriter.

1x6 There’s No Place Like Homecoming: The A message makes it clear that the liars are going to see A at homecoming, but with so many suspects of who could be A at this point, they still focus on Toby. However, Ezra’s “I figured you’d be here” to Aria, while they had an altercation in the hallway suggests he knew she would be here, as in he’d see her at homecoming.

1x20 Someone To Watch Over Me: Aria sends a text to Ezra about how she wants to be looking into his eyes, which she accidentally sends to her mom. When her mom confronts her, she mentions the eyes frequently. This may have been deliberate since the mention of A’s eyes being interesting occurring twice.

2x12 Over My Dead Body: It’s already been mentioned once how A has interesting eyes, by the woman who sold A the bracelets, when A claimed to be Spencer. But in the mid-season finale, it’s said A has pretty eyes. Interesting could have meant unusual where as pretty means they are nice, if they’re nice 

I’m sure anyone would like to “look into them”.
